I Can't Hear You

"Hello...Hello-o....can you hear me?"...

Why couldn't I hear anything? I looked down at my phone and did a check... yep, full battery and full signal bar. "📶

After a few moments of silence on the line, I finally heard a voice say "I answered you, but you couldn't hear me because your background was too loud."📣

God brought this moment back to me and echoed the same response. He reminded me that I would only be able to hear His response to my questions and His direction, if my background was quiet. 😌

Loud looks different for each of us...but whether it's movies, games, social media or relationships, the question to all of us is the same...Are you willing to get quiet to hear Him?...

I Can't Hear You:

Honestly, we will hear only what we want to hear....We are intentional and even determined about the things that are really important to us. 

If hearing from God is important to you, then creating a quiet space will be important too.

So this week take 10 minutes of quiet time each morning to thank God, and listen for His response and direction for what you've asked. 💜🙏🏼
