It's Not Hot Enough

I love colder weather.....sweaters, boots and of course my favorite, hot cocoa!😍☕

As I sat curled up with my cup, I took a sip expecting something hot....but was met with something lukewarm. 😫

For some it's tea and others coffee, but most would agree that it's only effective if it's hot.♨️

In the same way, our life and how we live it reflects the temperature of our commitment to God....

It's the most impactful to bring love, light and hope to the world around us when it's "hot".

We live lukewarm when we know what God said, but choose to ignore or modify it to fit how we want to live instead.

It's Not Hot Enough

It's a process and takes time to heat up my hot cocoa, and it's the same with our relationship with God.

Over time it grows, but only if we are intentional to stay connected to God the source.

So this week take 10 minutes of quiet time each morning to connect with God, and ask Him to show you where He wants you to grow more with Him. 💜😊
