You're Going The Wrong Way

According to the GPS, I was on track to be early! So I settled back in the seat of my car with a grin😁, feeling good that everything was falling into place. Suddenly I felt a strong pull to double check the address I entered....and it was wrong!😫

My initial reaction was frustration and disappointment that my GPS sent me to the wrong address...then I remembered it was just taking me where I told it to go. 

I sank even more into my feelings as I began to turn the car around, knowing that I was given the right address but by mistake entered it wrong. 

This is how my walk with God has felt lately....He'll show me the plan and the directions to get there, but somehow I end up in the wrong place. 

As I turn around, I'm faced with the same feeling of frustration because I'm not where I thought I'd be.

But He already knew!...Nothing we do is a surprise to God. He has factored in our imperfections to His plan. 

Whatever area of our lives we've made a wrong turn, He just wants to know that we are willing to acknowledge and turn around. 💜

If we truly desire in our heart to follow Him, He will help us get there....step by step. 👣

It's easy to miss it with our limited view of His plan, so staying close to God when we are making moves is important. 

This week, take 10 minutes of quiet time each morning to reflect, readjust and reconnect with God's plan for the day, to make sure you're going the right way. 💜😊🙏🏼
